ABOUT IR SAUNA

INFRARED SAUNA

Use an IR Sauna to detoxify the body and improve skin, soreness, pain, metabolism and sleep.

Because traditional saunas use high temperatures, most people find them uncomfortable. IR saunas are different since they heat the body directly and use much lower temperatures making them not only much more comfortable to use, but more effective in releasing toxins.

FAQs

What is the difference between an IR sauna and a traditional sauna?

Traditional hot rock or steam saunas use hot air or convection heat to warm the body. The high temperature of the air produced by these saunas can make them very uncomfortable for people to use. IR saunas heat the body directly and are much more comfortable to use because they use a much lower temperature.

What are the benefits of an infrared sauna (IR sauna)

There are many benefits including helping the body eliminate toxins, lowering blood pressure, burning calories more efficiently, relief of muscle aches and body pains, and stimulation of the immune system.

Are there any other differences or benefits of IR saunas compared to traditional saunas?

IR light penetrates the skin up to 10 times deeper than the steam from traditional saunas. These can lead to added health benefits including more destruction of harmful cholesterol, reduction in inflammation, and stimulation of the immune system.

Do I need to do anything to prepare for using an IR sauna

Hydration is very important. As you sweat out toxins, the concentration of important electrolytes can change in the body. It is important to replace the fluid that is lost in sweat to minimize changes in these electrolyte levels.

How does the IR sauna help someone to get rid of toxins?

When the infrared light penetrates the body, it is converted to heat. The heat can then melt the fat which binds the toxins in the body. The toxins are then released into circulation and the body’s natural detoxification mechanisms can expel the toxins.

Is it safe for everyone to use an IR sauna?

People who have been diagnosed with Lupus, Hyperthyroidism, Hempophilia, serious joint injuries, have artificial joints or metal devices, and other serious medical conditions should consult a physician before use.

Are the lower temperature used by IR saunas less effective?

Actually the opposite has been shown to be true. People release more toxins at the lower temperatures utilized by IR saunas than at the higher temperatures associated with traditional saunas.
