WHAT IS CryoTONING?

CryoToning®️ works by applying cold temperatures to the top two layers of skin (the epidermis and the dermis).

 

The cold from the wand, plus the warmth from the technician's hand alternately create vasoconstriction (i.e. oxygenated blood flow in the smallest vessels) which in turn boosts collagen and elastin production, helping to firm skin and reduce the appearance of cellulite.

Ideal Candidates

Everyone is a good candidate for CryoToning, especially those with cellulite, fine lines, wrinkles, or who wants to improve the overall appearance of their skin.

• People who are looking to tighten loose skin and improve skin elasticity caused by aging, weight loss, and/or pregnancy.

• Those who are lacking evenness and want to improve skin texture.

• People lacking blood flow and oxygen to the skin and want a healthy glow.

• Those who want to minimize stretch marks and firm skin.

• Those who want to reduce the appearance of cellulite and accentuate natural body curves.

• People who do not have enough pinchable subcutaneous tissue to be considered for CryoSlimming, but still want to improve definition and tighten skin.

WHEN WILL I SEE RESULTS?

CryoToning results aren’t permanent, but they are cumulative, so the more sessions received, the longer the results last.

 

It’s recommended to receive a minimum of five treatments, and those results are expected to last three to four months. However, this depends on age and genetics. For older clients, results may last one to two months. In general, we recommend coming in for maintenance visits as needed for best results.

What to expect...

• In preparation for the treatment, it is important to have clean dry skin, drink lots of water, and avoid carbohydrates at least 2 hours before, and 2 hours after the treatment.

• It is always recommended to begin with a consultation. Since most clients want to do the treatment, we always leave enough time after the consultation for one Cryoskin treatment. The consultation takes about 15 minutes, and you should plan for at least an hour for the very first appointment.

• Before each treatment the cryo therapist will discuss your results from the previous session, your main concerns, and where you would like the treatment to focus on. Taking your goals into consideration, the cryo therapist will advise what technique is best to achieve your desired results.

• Depending on the area being treated for CryoToning, the cryo therapist will take a before photo.

• A gel will be applied to the skin where the treatment will be performed.

• The treatment utilizes the cold temperature of the Cryoskin wand and the warmth of the cryo therapist’s hand to apply a gentle cold massage to the desired area. Many clients say it is comfortable and enjoyable.

 

• Once the treatment is completed, depending on the area, an after photo may be taken.

• Most clients see results from the first session and are very promising, but sustainable results tend to happen around the third and fourth session.

 

• The skin may be red after the treatment and usually goes away after 30 minutes.

 

• At the end of the appointment, the cryo therapist will ask if you have any questions and when you would like to book your next appointment. You’ll also be reminded to drink lots of water and make good choices!
