The systems use a patented massage pattern working on different parts of the body. It massages arms, hips, and legs with pneumatic compression. The recovery system promotes pain relief and recovery by improving circulation. It employs the following biomimicry forms:

Pulsing: It mobilizes fluid by mimicking the muscle pumps of arms and legs. This helps improve the movement of metabolites and fluid out of the body after an intense workout.

Gradient hold: It stops fluids from being directed in the wrong direction by restricting the back flow of fluid.

Distal release: It prevents back flow by releasing the hold pressure in each zone.

To receive the full benefits of Normatec compression therapy, we suggest using it for approximately 30 minutes.

During your Normatec session, depending on the setting, you'll have the sensation of a very tight squeeze that works its way up the chambers of the device you are using (legs, hips, or arms). It's very relaxing similar to a massage.

Customize each session with different intensity levels and give yourself a little extra attention wherever you need it most with ZoneBoost™.

ZoneBoost™ allows you to increase the intensity of a single zone on your attachment by adding an extra 60 seconds of massage time as well as 10mmHg increased pressure in the selected zone.

Only one set of attachments can be used per treatment. For example, you cannot treat the legs and the arms at the same time.

Comfortable yet tight-fitting clothes are best. If your clothes are too loose, as the device compresses, the fabric can bunch and be uncomfortable.

The Normatec sleeves need to fit properly. The sleeves at GOAT Wellness are best used for those that are 5 feet to 6 feet 3 inches with a thigh width less than 29 inches.

Normatec should not be used if you have an open wound, deep vein clot, sutures or over an area of skin rash. In addition, the system should not be used in an area of broken bone or fracture.

We have found that many women who are pregnant use Normatec to help relieve swelling and soreness. In any case, it is always best to consult with your doctor to see if this device is right, and safe, for you to use.
